Terms of service
By booking a service with Sanctuary of Self Counselling, you agree to the following terms:
1. Booking & Payment
All sessions must be paid for at the time of booking.
Payment is accepted via Stripe, debit/credit card, or approved internal instalment payment plans for session packs and membership plans.
Sessions are not confirmed until payment is received.
Bookings may be restricted if a payment fails. Continued failed payments may result in session pause or cancellation.
2. Session Types & Delivery
All services are delivered via telehealth (video or phone) unless otherwise stated.
You will receive a secure link via email before your appointment.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
You must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows may result in the session being forfeited without refund.
Membership and pack holders may receive a limited grace allowance (1–3 missed sessions max), at the discretion of the practitioner.
4. Late Arrivals
Sessions will end at the scheduled time, even if you arrive late.
If you are more than 15 minutes late without contact, the session may be cancelled and considered a no-show.
5. Refunds
All session types are non-refundable if not cancelled before 24 hours before the session via the online booking platform.
Session packs and memberships are valid only within their expiry periods.
No refunds are provided for unused or missed sessions.
6. Privacy & Confidentiality
Your information and sessions are confidential and stored securely via Practice Better.
Confidentiality may only be broken if there is a legal obligation or risk of serious harm.
7. Eligibility
Services are for strictly clients aged 18+ only until further notice.
Sanctuary of Self Counselling does not provide crisis services. If you are in immediate danger or distress, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline.
